Ch.5: Hiragana set [wa-n-wo]


This is the WA character, pronounced like the 'wa' in water.

This is the WO character. Many people identify it as the 'special o' but it is actually easier to remember as 'wo.' Japanese people pronounce it that way, and when you want to type it on the keyboard, you type W-O. It is a particle that marks the direct object of a sentence.

This is the 'n' character. To produce it on the screen, you have to type the N key twice.
